For over 15 years, Alice Minville worked for a world leader in the forest products and pulp and paper industry, where she held the positions of senior legal counsel and manager. Her responsibilities included legal issues concerning the environment, real estate and hydroelectric power generation. She was also responsible for major transactions and commercial issues, supervised commercial and regulatory litigation and was the secretary of the board of directors’ Environment, Health and Safety committee. Alice also oversaw the management of several departments with a total of 100 unionized employees and 6 management employees, covering various operational activities.
Experience in private practice
Alice began her career in private practice in 2001 with a large national firm, McCarthy Tétrault, where she carried out a variety of mandates within the commercial real estate group (commercial leases, hypothecary financing, the purchase and sale of assets and shares, and mergers and acquisitions).
