Eloïse Gagné

As a lawyer practicing in commercial law and mergers and acquisitions, Eloïse brings experience from both private practice and in-house roles. She advises businesses throughout their lifecycle, from strategic transactions and the negotiation of commercial agreements to day-to-day legal matters.

Her experience has given her a practical understanding of the legal considerations surrounding business projects, operations and growth. She is skilled at making complex issues easy to understand, quickly identifying key risks and recommending practical solutions tailored to her clients’ business context.

With an accessible and collaborative approach, Eloïse works closely with the teams involved to develop sustainable solutions and facilitate their implementation within the organization.

Eloïse served as Senior Legal Counsel and later as Legal Director at a multinational company in the entertainment industry. She helped build the legal department and worked closely with business and operational teams in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

In this role, she identified and assessed business risks, developed agreements tailored to the company’s commercial realities, and implemented sustainable processes that balanced compliance and efficiency with business objectives.

Eloïse began her career at two national law firms, where she practiced primarily in private mergers and acquisitions and commercial law. She advised companies across a range of industries at key stages of their development, including business succession, operational reorganizations, and sale and acquisition transactions. Her work included mandates in the food processing and energy sectors.
