Étienne Bisson-Michaud

Étienne’s practice focuses on all aspects of litigation, including providing opinions and strategic advice at pre-litigation phase, drafting procedures and representing clients before the Quebec’s trial and appeal courts. He also practices in real estate law.

Étienne has extensive experience in various types of litigation, including commercial and contractual law, construction law, shareholder disputes, product liability and extraordinary remedies such as injunctions, safeguard orders and seizures before judgment. He has been called upon to act for clients in complex commercial arbitration matters, which has given him a solid expertise in this field.

Étienne also regularly advises various companies in the real estate field, such as developers, builders, owners and managers of commercial buildings, contractors and syndicates of co-ownership. He supports his clients in all matters of commercial leases and the establishment and realization of hypothecary securities.

Étienne was partner at Novalex and practised for 9 years in a Montreal boutique law firm specializing in real estate law. He also worked within a renowned Quebec City law firm and in a regional firm specialized in construction law.
