A lawyer with more than 20 years of experience, Valérie Bollée spent over a decade leading legal departments within fast-growing international technology companies. Throughout her career, she has supported organizations through periods of expansion, transformation, and acquisitions, while leading multidisciplinary legal teams and strategic initiatives across North America and internationally.
Her expertise includes risk management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, and post-acquisition legal integration. Recognized for her pragmatic approach and strong operational mindset, she helps position legal functions as true business partners by developing solutions that support growth while mitigating risk and safeguarding operations.
A collaborative and influential leader, Valérie is also known for her ability to bridge legal, business, and executive teams. She supports organizations in transformation and process optimization initiatives to promote informed decision-making and proactive management of legal and business risks.
Throughout her in-house career, Valérie has led legal functions for rapidly growing technology and telecommunications organizations across North America and internationally.
As Vice President, Legal Affairs and Compliance, Americas at Createch (a Bell subsidiary), later acquired by Talan, she led a team of legal professionals and oversaw all legal, contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters across the organization. Acting as a strategic advisor to senior management, she played a key role in Bell’s sale of Createch to Talan and subsequently led the legal integration of Talan’s Canadian and U.S. entities. She also spearheaded major initiatives in risk management, digital transformation, and corporate social responsibility.
Previously, as Group Legal Director at Linkbynet, a technology company operating across four continents, she established and structured the legal function to support the organization’s rapid growth. As a member of the executive leadership team, she oversaw contractual, regulatory, corporate, and intellectual property matters globally, while contributing to the implementation of compliance frameworks and risk management processes adapted to a fast-evolving business environment.
At SFR, one of France’s leading telecommunications providers, Valérie held several leadership positions. She supported operational teams on strategic projects involving real estate acquisitions, commercial leasing, infrastructure deployment, and complex litigation matters. Her experience also included managing large legal teams and playing a key role in harmonizing legal practices following significant organizational transformations.
Early in her career, Valérie practised with Renault Law Firm in France, where she managed a significant portfolio of litigation matters involving real estate, contract, liability, employment, and family law. She advised clients throughout every stage of the legal process, from strategic assessment and litigation management to negotiations, pleadings, and judgment enforcement.
