With over 45 years of experience in the legal realm, Daniel specializes in business transactions such as merger and acquisition transactions, financing, corporate law, energy law (electricity), mining law, and infrastructure. He also offers international advisory services.
In his international practice, Daniel Bénay has played a pivotal role as a counsel in the development and implementation of hydroelectric projects in Madagascar, bank restructuring, and securities legislation in Cameroon, reform of security law in Vietnam, Cambodia, El Salvador, and Morocco, as well as the execution of privatization projects in Haiti.
Daniel has practiced in a number of major law firms, including as a partner in the business law group of a national law firm for over 30 years.
