Ms. Béliveau focuses her practice on commercial real estate law, with leading-edge expertise in leasing, layout and development of office buildings, shopping centers and industrial properties.
As external corporate counsel, Josée has worked for many years with industry-leading real estate and asset management teams, including financial institutions, developers and property managers across Canada.
Josée’s vast experience and knowledge of the realities of business operations and risk management enable her to offer strategic advice that has a real impact for her clients. The quality of her services is reflected in the high added value she brings to the commercial transactions in which she participates.
Since her arrival at Delegatus, Josée has contributed to numerous mandates, more specifically in-house mandates, including with Mouvement Desjardins through Desjardins Real Estate Group and the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec.
Prior to that, Josée was an in-house legal advisor within very large corporations, such as The Jean Coutu Group (PJC), RONA, Metro, SITQ, Yellow Group and the Communauté urbaine de Montréal.
Josée also acted as Head of Legal Affairs, Operations for Ivanhoe Cambridge, one of the world’s leading developers of shopping centers.
Before joining Delegatus, Josée worked for 2 years in private practice.
