Biography
Malika is a lawyer practicing in various fields including criminal law, intellectual property, and civil and commercial litigation. Her multidisciplinary practice makes her a versatile and meticulous lawyer. Her personalized approach and attention to detail allow her to analyze the legal issues presented to her from all angles to prepare an effective defense.
Her background as a teaching assistant at the University of Sherbrooke gives her ease when making court representations or offering conferences to clients. In her master’s degree combining law and sciences, she focused on whether the Canadian legal environment was sufficiently adapted to prevent certain technological abuses, notably the arrival of deepfakes.

- Conduct various research mandates and develop a strategy in criminal matters (chain of custody, registration on the Sex Offender Registry, and others)
- Represent the interests of various clients in contested court applications
- Participate in the defense of various food retailers in matters of violations of the Tobacco Control Act
- Prepare and deliver a major conference on copyright and user-generated content for a private Montreal organization
